Was it hard trying to manage 2? Did you feel like your 1st was left out or not getting the attention he/she used to?

I found it hard at the beginning. I loved my second child immensely and completely...which was a surprise, as throughout pregnancy I had anticipated that I would not be able to love him right away, as I so adored my first son. I felt terrible at times and guilty that I no longer could spend all of my time with my first son. Gradually, this feeling has dissipated. I make a lot of special one on one time with my first son, and my husband does as well. My second child is only 9 months old, so we get a lot of one on one time as well with nursing and cuddling at night. My first child does seem to have grown positively from the whole thing. He is much more independent, and he does love his brother...most of the time.
The physical demands of two young children is at times tough, but this too gets easier. One learns balance and routines with two rather than one.
But I could not imagine life without my two little ones. And I feel proud when I have a moment to reflect...not often that that happens right now!

i have 2 at 15 months apart
it was easier than i thought,

I do feel now that sometimes i wish i was spending more time with either one or the other BUT they don't seem to mind,

I find that everyday you make special time for one or the other,
like in the morning, if one sleeps in you cuddle and kiss and read a book to the one thats awake

OR we play when one is napping,

OR we CLEAN, make lunch, make play dough, bake cupcakes,
all together

the kids never seem to notice,

no it wasnt hard mine are two months short of being five years apart...i had her in oct and he turned five in dec so he wasnt in school yet but he was a huge help with her and we all had time together to go to the park to play and do all kinds of crazy stuff...i think i worried more about being able to love her cause he was my baby they are best friends now and he is almost 17 and she just turned 12
