I can do Calligraphy...so I was thinking of doin gmy invites to add the elegance...should I do the Save The Dates that way too? Opinions? I thought I should only do the invites to make them stand out...thoughts?

Personally I think that you should save the calligraphy for the invites...unless your save the dates will be very formal, calligraphy may look out of place. Maybe try some other kind of fun (less formal) writing for the save the dates to practice.

I wish that I knew calligraphy. My invitations were so nice, and then in my nicest (but still crappy) handwriting, I addressed the invites. I wasn't too happy with it...

I am learning calligraphy for this very reason. I was planning to practice with the save-the-dates and even engagement announcements :)

You can do both that way or just the invites. I'm doing my save-the-dates more casually and then my invitations more formally so they stand out more but if you want to do both, you certainly can.

Do both!
The more elegant the better! Its a wedding its supposed to be fancy! If you like fancy!

in case you will mixture acrylic with oil you would be unable to do it while it continues to be moist. you could paint over acrylic with oil while the paint has dried. any different way around won't artwork.
