I am looking for the recipe and name of a dessert we used to have at Thanksgiving made with coolwhip and was light green color? My grandmother used to make but she is now 92 and doesn't remember what went in it or what it was called. Seems like it had miniature marshmallows in it as well

what you are referring to sounds to me like a recipe my mother had once upon a time....it was called a christmas lime dessert. It had cool whip, green jello and mini marshmellows in it but I can't remember what else. I'm thinking it was crushed pineapple. The jello was set up like regular jello but was mixed in with the cool whip which give it the green tint and everything else was mixed up in with the cool whip. Is kind of what you are looking for?
