I Read that you can Help Habitat for Humanity and you will get some kind of a Discount in some Hotels. How does that work? I Could help build houses from the Hurricane and at the same time have a great Vacation.

Thats called the Operation Noah Rebuild,or some just call it project noah, its runs thru 2009!! Check out their website, they were doing that this summer!! A hotel room was cheap.

You can go to the website or contact them directly. They generally need a week long commitment for Habitat. Thank you for your interest in rebuilding New Orleans.

You might want to ask them about hotels that help with discounts. Often times groups come down and stay in churches etc but I am sure the local office can help you with suggestions.

Don't think it will be much of a "vacation" but it would be a rewarding experience, I'm sure.
