Is it true, what I've been told, that young teens, have relationships left over from High School, and that's why so many guys are single because many women are taken and vice versa?

To me, it always appears the girls I like are taken and I'm always told, eventually those girls will be single since many relationships are not long lasting, and around 25 I will see way more single girls.

Is any of this true?

yes, and it's a good thing since most people don't have a clue about anything til they are at least 25.

No, that doesn't make sense, unless all the women are lesbians. For every woman who's taken, a man is taken; thus there wouldn't be more single guys than girls (unless there was a gross inequality in population).

The girls you like are taken; that means other guys like them too and have already beaten you to the punch. The older you get, yes, you may find more single women as people are waiting longer to get married. But don't get discouraged; just keep looking.

Yeah I would think that's true because in highschool most people start relationships that are long-term but eventually fail once they start college because of all the stress and because of all the other options in college if you know what i mean.
