Asylum seekers are not flooding Britain. The net increase in people seeking asylum in the first quarter of 2007 was less than 5,000. That's not millions (as you said in another question), and it's a drop in the ocean compared to the 60 million population of UK.

There are in excess of 1 million legal immigrants from EU nations in UK. Are you confusing them with asylum seekers?

REDMONK: The questioner asked about asylum seekers. I answered about asylum seekers.

See what I did? Answered the question asked, not some different question I wished had been asked. Try it some time.
The question didn't mention illegal immigrants.

Sceptic, are you saying that Peter Hain has made a mistake with his figures regarding illegal immigrants. The 5000-----, are you confusing the figures with the 5000 illegals working in top security jobs under Jacqui Smith.

You know Scep, why don't you have a holiday and a break, I think you have lost the plot and are over doing it . Your logic, sight and intelligence seems to have failed you, is it emotional shock?. Try South of France.

Hope you feel a little better when you have thought things through Scep.

We would be in breach of international law if we did that.
The 1951 Geneva Convention for Refugees means that we must consider and process the claims of those who come here having fled persecution in their home country. The convention states that these people have the right to international protection and i believe as a civilised society we have a duty to offer them it.

Thanks for the 2 points. It's obvious you won't listen to those who don't agree with you.

lol I take it you rely on the Daily Mail for 'facts'.

Because the reality is very different.

A better question is why is the UK flooded with ill-educated white fools like you?
