Leviticus 19:11
" 'Do not steal. " 'Do not lie. " 'Do not deceive one another.
(obviously this is literal yes?)
Now what about spiritual?
Matthew 25:33
He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
(The sheep are the believers and the goats are the unbelievers or those who claimed they were saved but never were)

The Word of God contains both spiritual and literal meanings! God has MUCH to teach us! That is why it is crucial to rely on His Holy Spirit to teach us-- as Jesus tells us when we are saved, we are given the Holy Spirit who will lead us into all truth. Amen!

God also expects us to do our part to discern the true meaning of the Bible. Some of the Bible is literal, but most is not. We can write the problem 2+2=? on a chalk board and pray all day for God to give us the answer. Don't hold your breath waiting for an answer. We must do our part. If a scripture or idea seems irrational or illogical in the Bible its because of the way we interpret it for God is completely rational and logical.

How can you tell when something should be literal or spiritual? Some take it one way, others the other. Look what happened to goats as a result of this! Not that I'm pro-goat or anything....I digress.
Really, how is one supposed to tell the difference? Common sense isn't the right answer - not everyone has the same interpretations.
I think the corret answer is both.....but back to my question. Which is which?

They're both literal except the sheep and goats represent types of people. Goats will eat anything and only care about themselves. Sheep need a shepherd.
I'm glad to be one of His Sheep! He's 'The Good Shepherd' unlike the bad ones
Micah 5:4
4 He will stand and shepherd his flock
in the strength of the LORD,
in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God.
And they will live securely, for then his greatness
will reach to the ends of the earth.

You can't devide up the bible into versus you must read the story as a whole and use the parts to enhance the story as a whole. Otherwise I could get spiritual and literal from a Tom Clancy Novel.

I believe this is just a spiritual truth, not literal...
Matthew 5:30
And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.
The real solution to sin is repentance and asking God for forgiveness.
My good right hand was my "first wife". But I figured God would forgive me, so I did NOT cut it off.

The trueth is changing even the word trueth is changing. Whatesle is everlasting? Who is lier? Jesus saved us, other religious not? What is save? Does it mean one time saved or everlasting save? If one time save , will we follow him same as him or will we does whatever thing, he still save us forever and ever? What is a lier? What purpose to lie?
