for loose change. I have travelled ALOT. i have been to all the cities on my list and i love them. Chicago is dear to me because i was born there. San fran is really horrible . Nothing special there to make me put it on my list, the people are rude and fake.

Your list is woefully screwed up. Not only do you not have San Francisco as #1 on your list, you don't have it anywhere on your list. Obviously you wouldn't know the greatest city in the world if it bit you in the butt. As for Rio, that's not how you spell it. New York's got rats on the west side, bedbugs uptown. Go ahead, bite the Big Apple. Watch out for the maggots. Chicago - are you kidding? London? Sure, why not. Most of rats in the Thames are acquatic and make their way to New York City. L.A.??? L.A. is the rectal outlet of the west coast. Surely you jest. You ever been there? You still have any breathing apparatus left? Tokyo, great if you like sardines in a can. Paris, ah, France. Okay, maybe Paris, although they really stick it to you if all you have is U.S. dollars. Melbourne? Australia is like a 90 year old woman. Everybody knows it's down there but nobody gives a rat'sass. Toronto? Okay, maybe. At least it's out of Bush country. Sydney? Okay mate, Sydney's okay.

Honorable mention: Madrid. yeah, nice town.
Seattle - hope you like Starbucks
Berlin - Ja, das ist Berliner Luft, ein besonderen Duft.
Capetown: Not the cleanest city in the world by a long shot
Oslo - You'll freeze your butt off

Sorry to be so critical, but leaving the jewel of the west out of your list is extremely negligent You must not have ever visited San Francisco, or else you did the same lame touristy things that tourists do and missed 99.9% of what the City is really all about - location, location, location.

Thank you Julie Travelcaster. At least you had the good sense to mention San Francisco by the Bay in your list.

The most "real" people I ever met were in Nome, Alaska.
