Is there any test I can take that will prove I have a reasonable knowledge of German. Which test should I aspire too. Native Speakers and those that learned German as a second languages may answer.

Do not give me useless answers or troll post please, they will be reported.

That would be something you'd add to the skills portion of a resume - i.e. fluent in German language. As far as a test goes, I think that would be something that the prospective employer would administer.

Well, I don't know if it's offered in the civilian sector, but in the Army I took a CLEP test for German, because I already had taken all 4 German classes offered in High School, so I was fluent enough. I didn't have to take the crash course. Maybe you can look this test up online and see if it's offered anywhere.

Yeah usually under the skills and qualifications I will put it in there like 'basic understand of the spanish language' or 'fluent in...'. That's a good idea for you to put that on there, because people tend to take notice if you are bilingual to any extent.

Good question.
