I would do both. While you are at it, get her used to having her ears cleaned.. Just rub inside her ears with your fingers at first and you can graduate to qtips when needed.

Don't shampoo her. The Stronghold is working - you're seeing dead fleas! Shampooing would not achieve anything. Combing will get the flea dirts off, but is unlikely to remove any eggs - they're microscopic, you can't even see them.
Sounds like your flea problem is sorted. If you do see any more, it only means you need to spray your house. Don't muck up the Stronghold now by bathing!! Continue to use it monthly.

My own experience of cat flea treatment is only Frontline Cat works. Your cat is a Persian proberly got long fur the fleas can hide in it. If you can not afford vet charges since 2005 you can buy Frontline Cat on the Internet much cheaper than vet charges. As she is so young a vets advice might be advisable, but the instructions on the Frontline says you can use it on Kittens from 8 weeks old. Good luck with your Kitty I hope you can get her sorted out.

There is also a pill you can get at your vet called Capstar, which kills fleas instantly. I would get that pill, wait 24 hours, then put on Revolution and use a flea comb to brush away any dead fleas and flea dirt.
Hope this helps. We just did this to our newcomer and the fleas are gone!

I KNOW I AM A BREEDER OF TICA REG'D RAGDOLL CATS AND FOUND THIS OUT FIRST HAD BY MY DOG BRINGING THEM IN THE HOUSE.

This a question in regard to a question's suggestion. I have always used Advantage and Frontline, but where to I find the product Revolution that was mentioned-it sounds great and how expensive is it?

the comb should work, but you should also put her on flea meds, such as Frontline or Advantage.
