These were recorded by the early Church father Origen (c. 185-232 CE):
"But let us now return to where the Jew is introduced [Celsus], speaking of the mother of Jesus, and saying that "when she was pregnant she was turned out of doors by the carpenter to whom she had been betrothed, as having been guilty of adultery, and that she bore a child to a certain soldier named Panthera; "and let us see whether those who have blindly concocted these fables about the adultery of the Virgin with Panthera, and her rejection by the carpenter, did not invent these stories to overturn His miraculous conception by the Holy Ghost: for they could have falsified the history in a different manner, on account of its extremely miraculous character, and not have admitted, as it were against their will, that Jesus was born of no ordinary human marriage." - Origen Against Celsus 1:Chapter XXXII

Panthera was a fictional Roman soldier made up by the Jews in the Talmud because they couldn't believe in the Virgin Birth of Jesus.

This does not make sense. Joseph was engaged to Mary, but since she conceived Jesus through the holy spirit, then he adopted Jesus. Panthera is fictional. God is made up of three persons - the father, the son, and the holy spirit. Read the Word more closely, and pray before doing so, otherwise it is futile.

The idea is God is Jesus' biological father. Or perhaps more accurately, he doesn't have a biological father, and was created within Mary's womb by God.

You can't apply biology or logic to it, and it's very dependent on faith.

It makes a lot of sense to me. I don't think anybody has ever found evidence to prove exactly who Jesus' father was.

I would tend to suspect Joseph was his bio-dad. After all he and Mary were engaged. They already knew each other...they were getting married soon anyway...and most engaged couples tend to anticipate the wedding night.

The bible says that Jesus's father is Joseph. But, we know that Mary was a virgin when she had Jesus. So, Jesus' father is God because He (God) sent holy spirit in mary's womb.
yes, you could say that Joseph was his adoptive father.
But Jesus had no biological father.
