my grandfather bet me 100 dollars i could not get this answer right, he said "what was the one thing that the army took away from me in basic training and he said there is only one real answer i got three tries to get it and the only thing i can think of is ciggarettes/lighter when i was @ 30th ag inprocess now with 369th sig bn plz help answer

his answer which i got wrong was my illusions of self importance lol so it was close to induvidualism but not close enough lol now i am out of 100 dollars lol and to that first sargeant thanx

I was operations Sergeant of Charlie Company 369Th when I retired in 93.

Small world.

But the one thing that the Army takes in Basic is your Childhood.

So hows Ft Gordon these days?

That is a good question to ask for a $100.00. You're station in Ft Gordon, Ga? If you have three tries, I hope that you didn't tell him it was cigarettes and lighter. That is a no go at that station, young solider! Here is a hint for you, if you have gone throught basic training. The answer apply to you as individaul, its have nothing to do with what you took with you. Its have to do with YOU!!!! do i get a cut? hehehehe The Army of ONE!!
