What i like to do is i describe pets by names.
for instance, i name a dog Lucky if it's lucky( but i wouldn't use this name. It's too common). I would name your dog 'Comet'
if your dog loves to be active, move around a lot, and be very
athletic. I hope this helps because I'm trying to get points to level up in Yahoo!Answers.

It's a good name. Except comet always makes me think of the cleaner and that little jingle kids used to sing on the school bus...."Comet...it smells like gasoline, comet...your teeth are big and green, comet...will make you vomit..."
*Sorry, I work as an elementary teacher, so my mind automatically reverts to that age sometimes... :)

it's nice but very common. I prefer names with a meaning like the name of a king or the name of a ship. My dog's name is Duncan, Duncan was the 1st Scottish king in 1034. Remember your dog will not be 6 months old all his life, might not suit him to be named when he's 9 y/o, see what I mean.
