To clarify, whether atheism is true or not, is there anyone who believes it is a reasonable conclusions and also believes that this is unfortunate because they will suffer in the afterlife because of their belief.

Sure! Atheism seems rational from an earthly stand point. Atheists want proof of God and you cannot attain that proof without faith. This seems illogical and unrational to the atheist. God should prove Himself FIRST and THEN we can have faith. Atheism seems rational on the surface, but it is irrational to reject all things that you have no proof of. Take the theory of evolution as an example...we have no PROOF of this, only evidences, but many atheists take it as fact. We have no PROOF of God, but many evidences and they refuse to consider any of them. So, yes, I believe atheism can be seen as rational and I also believe that atheists, unfortunately, will go to hell by their own choice.

I believe Atheism is rational, I do not believe in hell though.

I am not an Atheist, but I still don't believe in hell.

One thing I would like to point out, although Atheism may be rational, it does not make Atheists rational by default.

I had a friend who was an atheist and he was the most rational, loving, helpful person I ever knew.

Hell is a christian invention. Ergo only christians can go to Hell

As a Christian I believe that Atheist will go to Hell because they chose not to worship God and His son Jesus. I can understand how this may seem wrong to you. God only lets those into His kingdom that chose to worship him.

I believe in the Holy Word of God, and His Word tells me that anyone who refuses to believe in Jesus Christ's death, burial and resurrection will one day be separated from His love permanently. God does not want anyone to suffer eternal torment in a lake of fire, and He is giving everyone the opportunity to have eternal life with Him. God bless you!!!
