The Bible mentions animals in heaven and in the Book of Revelation all animals (creatures) that have breath will raise their voices and praise God. God will give us the desires of our heart and if you desire your dog, the dog will be there.

I'm sorry to tell you that *most* Christian denominations do not believe that animals go to Heaven. Why? No idea.
However, you believe whatever makes you feel good about your dog and your god. If it gives you comfort in your time of grief, then go for it.
Summer Breeze: Can you please show our grieving friend here your sources? Oh, that's right - your only source is the Bible, which was written by humans back before they ever kept pets. I'm sure if the Bible was written during a time and in a culture in which pets were valued as much as they are now, animals going to Heaven would be a major part of Christianity. Just look at Mormonism - that religion was invented in the 1800s, at a time when most families had pets that were loved and cherished. Mormons believe whole-heartedly that animals go to Heaven.
The point I'm making here is that it's stupid to shape your spiritual beliefs on the thoughts, lives, and words of people who lived in a vastly different culture and at a vastly different time from what we're living in now.
To the asker: I'm an atheist, and I don't believe in Heaven. But I'll tell you what I do believe. I believe that matter and energy are neither created nor destroyed - just reshaped and reused. When your dog died, all the particles that made his form and all the energy that made his thoughts and emotions dispersed into the world around you. Your dog lives on, in myriad new lives that will use his particles to live, grow, reproduce, and eventually die. And his thoughts and feelings, the energy that was in his brain and body, are being re-used as energy sources for other lives as well. He is immortal, in a sense, and although you'll never meet him again, he does go on in the universe, as you will, too, when you die.
And you can cherish your memories of him for your entire life, and never forget the way he was, and the love you shared. I'm a dog fan myself - I know how special the bond is between a dog and his owner. :) I'm sorry your dog died - that's never easy. But the essential parts of him continue, and make up the world around you. I hope that's some comfort to you.

I believe they do. Look at all the love and creative energy God lavished on their creation! Why would that go to waste? I don't know if you are into the Bible at all, but it speaks of a new heaven and new earth and in another place it says one day the lion lies down with the lamb, so to me, definitely animals are there. I'm sorry about your dog, hon, I know how much that hurts.

I´m sorry about your dog. I lost my dog too and I miss her so much. It would be great if you could see each other again in another life, but until then give another dog the chance of a good home. I´m sure your dog would agree with me.

I believe they do. I can't imagine heaven without the animals.
Sorry about your dog, but he is in a great place and God is taking very good care of him.

I'm not sure about other religions, but Christianity says that on in order to go to heaven one must put their trust in Jesus Christ. Can an animal do that? Furthermore, What if flies, cockroaches and other "non-furry" things where in Heaven? It wouldn't be so heavenly then would it??

in easy terms God is prevalent with for confident , in spite of the shown fact that He did provide us some evidence of all residing issues having a soul ! guy is the only species in the international which could sin , as we are the only creatures that God created that doesn`t do what God created us to do, and we could be stored to get to heaven by way of fact of our human disobedience . All different creatures do what they have been meant to do of their organic habitat . Animals consequently don`t have a sin nature , so i think they are going to be in heaven no longer by way of fact they could get stored to get in , yet on the grounds that's cautioned in this passage that they have got a soul , and a soul does no longer die **The King James Holy Bible says` in activity 12 : 9 -10 , Who knoweth no longer in in simple terms about all those that the hand of The Lord hath wrought this ; In whose hand is " the soul of each residing situation ", and the breath of mankind . { Oh, by ability of ways God has indexed "all" His creations , in simple terms %. one out , and lo and behold you already know what that's .}

Animals don't go to heaven. Man was created in the image of God - not animals. Secondly, Jesus Christ didn't die on the cross for animals, but for the sins of His people. Also, humans have souls; animals don't, so when they die, they just die - they don't go anywhere - sorry if this upsets you. I don't mean to sound harsh, cold-hearted or mean - just telling you the truth - :) I'm sure, in time, you'll find another adorable pet to love and enjoy - :) There's never a short supply of loving pets that need good homes, so go adopt another dog that needs your love and affection - :)

WELL< IF DOGS DON'T GO TO HEAVEN. I WANT TO GO WHERE THEY GO WHEN I DIE
Don't worry your dog is always with you in spirit.
Late at nite I can still hear my poor old dog's toenails softly clicking on the floor.

I completely think dogs go to heaven. I think your dog will be waiting for you when you go to heaven one day. I think heaven for dogs is full of animals, toys, treats, and lots of playing.
