this is a quote from Philip Johnson, Law Professor and Author
As I read all of the evolutionary literature written for the general public, I saw that some of the proponents of Darwinian evolution were hard-core atheists like Richard Dawkins, and others were not. Some of them took a view that religion or belief in God is alright if you want that sort of a thing, but they assumed that it was an imaginary thing. I could see that this is why there was so much insistence upon the Darwinian story.
Believing in Darwinian evolution doesn't prove that there's no God. What it proves is that there's no need for God's participation to get all the creating done. Now, is that true? I was fascinated with that question of what's fundamentally true.

If this Darwinian story is true, then nature does have all the creative power it needs to produce plants and animals and people. But if the story isn't true, if it doesn't fit the evidence, then maybe the creator is something more than an imaginary projection of people's minds. Maybe a creator is a necessary part of reality.
have you considered this view point? If so, what was your conclusion after looking at the facts

Ronald H; if evolution is not correct for what we see around us, can you offer an alternative, (transpermia for example, and how did life start there? Dr.Crick endorses this)

SH M, when I was in iraq, I learned that some people actually have immunity to Leishmaniasis. When they are infected they fight off the parasite by their bodies immune system. Us soldiers though, were in grave danger of losing our lives. That is the body overcoming something as you discribe.

People can believe whatever they want, but evolution has become the fabric for scientific research and development of academic excellence. Because evolution theory is a testable, objective and verifiable process for intellectual application and discovery, and precisely because belief in god as a creator is NOT, it is correct to conclude that "there's no need for God's participation to get all the creating done."

Every 'story' is created by creator. Darwin's law fits in nature/reality. The law of survival is nature of living custom.
( Believing in Darwinian evolution doesn't prove that there's no God. What it proves is that there's no need for God's participation to get all the creating done. Now, is that true? )That is not true, Darwin's law is just for story of evolution.

The proof and evidence is all around you and everywhere, undeniable proof, and indisputable visible evidence. It is called creation and life. Unless your are blind, deaf, and senseless. You can see, smell, taste, hear, feel, and examine the evidence.

We live on a planet teeming with life. Plant life with approximately 250,000 species, animal life with over a million species. Scientists are learning just how complex life is. So complex that it requires design. The evidence of design requires a designer. Scientists are also learning the conditions for life; just how perfect conditions here on planet Earth are to support all this life.

The human brain, it absorbs forty megabytes per second of data while awake. That is two terabytes of data a day. At night, it sorts and stores that data through the creation of new chemical bonds and synaptic connectors.

Sure, right, this all just happened and evolved. This sort of thinking takes considerable faith, exponentially more faith than believing in a creator.

Simply ALLAH (GOD) has created every thing. If darwin is true then why not any thing has been evolved from last 1400 years. But we see no human has gone through while our life style and our society has changed completly. Then why we have not got strngth to fight against asthma, cancer and any other disease due to polution. While it is still growing. So if there was cointinuous evolution then our body at least has changed itself to coop with increasing polution.Even old diseases like simple fever needs cure and our body in millions of year has no strength itself to counter it.

Scientists have already proven that matter and energy are interchangeable. The Energy of God exploded in the big bang theory and soon turned into matter. Matter seeks to return to energy, but eventually, energy reverts back to matter. It's a huge ongoing recycling program. At some point, God converted some energy into spirit to form Adam. This energy of spirit can never revert back to matter now and will continue to live forever.

ugh... no. If the theory of evolution was found to be completely untrue- it still would not suggest the existence of a creator. One could take this and SPECULATE there is a creator, but the theory of evolution being incorrect would not automatically suggest this- it would ONLY suggest that the theory was incorrect. Anything beyond "the theory being incorrect" would be purely speculative.
I'm lovin' it.

I think that this speaks to an underlying intelligence that has designed nature to do its thing. This underlying intelligence is what I call God. I understand that people have objections to calling it God, but that's okay with me.
