Ok so its an Atheist. Do Atheists get "christened" or something similar? If so whats it called?

A person who does not believe in God would be described as "Atheist".

the word is atheist rachel. and "protestants" do believe in god...just not the pope.
rachel, atheism is not a religion and therefore there are no rituals, sacraments, or traditions, or anything even remotely connected to the pomp and circumstance of religion. an atheist simply has no reason to believe in a deity, so we don't. it's just that simple.

When you don't believe in God, you are called athiest. Not knowing what you believe in is called agnostic. Most people are agnostic, because they haven't reached the point of deciding on what they believe in. They are open to the idea.

Protestants are Christians who don't adhere to the teachings of the Catholic Church. They broke away under "protest," hence the name "Protestant."
What, did you think all those Protestant churches you drive by are for people to just hanging out, drinking Tang and eating donuts every Sunday? Why would a church exist for people who don't believe in god? If they wanted to just sit around and not worship God, don't you think they'd go to a community center or a bar instead of a CHURCH?
