Ok, get most of your coupons from your Sunday paper. You can buy multiples each week, or get the coupon inserts from family, friends, neighbors who don't use them. Be creative! You can even try your local recycling area to get coupon inserts. Also, do an internet search for "printable coupons" and there are a bunch of sites where you can print manufacturer's coupons. You can even search for where to "buy" coupons and they mail them to your house. To get the most out of your coupons, you need to search your local store's ads. If you have a grocery store that doubles coupons, then that is a huge deal! I would suggest checking out www.refundcents.com where you can join and find out all about couponing 101. It is a huge help in finding the best deals and telling you how to get started, and where and how to shop for the best deals locally and on the internet. It a HUGE helpful resource!

I shop at two local grocery stores and one now offers double coupons once a week. Given that coupons now have a shorter time span before they expire (vs. 10 years ago) and a change to a healthier diet, I actually use them far less and instead plan my meals around what is on sale.
Double coupon days are only worth it if you buy OTHER stuff also on sale and aren't traveling out of your way.

I get the majority of my coupons from the paper, some from magazines and then of course printables off the internet. I watch sales, and try to pair up the coupons with sales. Also, there are some stores (Target and Walgreens in particular) that allow you to combine manufacturer coupons (like from the newspaper) along with store coupons (found in their ads or target.com), to increase your savings. Match them up with sales or clearance items and save even more!

Check all the sales papers or online sales ads for stores you like to shop. The Sunday newspaper usually has coupons and you can also go to sites like http://www.coupons.com to print them out. Find out if any of your local grocery stores offer double coupons.

Try visiting RedeemACoupon.com. They offer coupon codes for all the established online retailers and provide a portal to those whose coupons they are offering.
