They can actually do paternity testing in the womb. She found out her husband is not the babys father however he is going to stay with her and try to work things out.

My question is who should through her a baby shower me and my mom? I feel embarrassed to even ask her husband if he has any plans. Should I be embarrased? Regardless I want to make something for my sister. Any advice would help thanks

Any birth is a time for celebration. If her husband is going to stay and deal with it, so can you. Throw her the shower, no matter who the bio-dad is she will need things for the baby to start out. The only sticky part is inviting his family if they know the truth. Send out the invitations and those that want to show up will. You have no reason to be embarassed you didn't do anything wrong.

Personally, I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole. If you do something for her, I would just do something small with family. Given the circumstance, I don't think she probably expects much of anything.

I wouldn't throw a shower for her. If she's dumb enough to get knocked up by someone that ain't her hubby, she doesn't need to embarrass her family any further.
