I'm not going to go through and 'edit' the list either but I know that Einstein had a particular distaste for the Jewish or Christian version of God, but still labeled himself a deist. B/c of this and the author including him as some Xian Nobel laureate supporting scientist, that calls the whole list into question
As far as the question goes, Jesus says no one will get to heaven if he calls people fools but then he does several times in the first four chapters. Including Nobel award winner's, there are plenty of very well educated atheists-Richard Dawkins (Oxford & Berkely), Christopher Hutchins (Leys School, Balliol College and Oxford) and Bert Ehrman (Moody & Princeton).
(BTW, I'm in the Bible Belt-I think the problem is that the majority are suffering from heat stroke ;-)

So, for now, just ignore whether or not man induced climate change is real (since it's currently unknown). What Al Gore has done has charged the debate and polarized it. He's taken the discussion on global warming and made it far more fractious (partially due to how false his arguments are). I'm not saying that's a bad thing (I personally enjoy healthy debate), but it's certainly led to a less peaceful environment, not a more peaceful one - which seems kind of at odd with the award. I wonder how much money Gore paid to the Nobel committee....

In my experience, the people who seem to have the answers for everything have rarely left the county in which they were born.
And their solution to world peace inevitably involved "nuking" someone.

Solly... Einstein was Jewish by culture, not by belief.
Edit: Solly, could you possibly over-react a little more?

UPDATE: I'm aware of Einstein's status as not religiously Jewish, but he was NOT an atheist, and so belongs on this list. I'm not in the habit of editing someone else's list, so that is why I provided the link. Take that particular hair-splitting issue up with the book publisher.
If that's the best you can do as a reply to someone else's question, why even bother? My email link is open for people like you, UP.
