livewire, she don't have to give me the answer I want, I'd just like her to say where she stands on the issue.

Tina J...thanks for the story, it is pretty close to a less vague answer. I'm amused that she believes that people who are in car accidents with illegal aliens will somehow have recourse if the illegal has a drivers license. Like that will somehow pay the car repairs and medical bills...LOL.

Hillery will not say anything on any subject that someone might not like so she either says nothing at all or she tells a lie and says something that her audience will like and changes her story the for next audience. She gets messed up when she has a variety of people or is on TV and she can't keep her lies straight. She gets very defensive and flustered then and blames it on being a woman or a conspiracy against her while it is really only her dishonesty showing.
She has made her position clear on many occasions, in fact in one five minute period she was:
For it.
Against it.
Definitely for it.
Certainly against it.
I never said that.
Problem is that she never tells us what she would do, she only tells us what she thinks that audience wants to hear.

OK, here's Hillary............. It's really not too surprising.
Hillary Clinton Flip-Flops On Spitzer Driver's License For Illegal Aliens
Hillary Clinton attempted to have it both ways last night in a Democratic debate. She said that New York Governor Eliot Spitzer is "filling a void" by giving illegal aliens driver's licenses since Comprehensive Immigration Reform, better known as amnesty for millions of illegal aliens, wasn't passed.
Hillary Clinton caught like a deer in the headlights on illegal alien drivers licenses
After Senator Chris Dodd pointed out that driver's licenses are a privilege, not a right, and that they shouldn't be given to illegal aliens, Hillary Clinton then said "I just want to add I did not say that it should be done". This right after she said she agreed with the Spitzer plan a minute earlier.
It should also be noted that when Tim Russert asked "Does anyone here believe that an illegal immigrant should not have a driver's license?" Chris Dodd was the only Democrat candidate that opposed illegal alien driver's licenses. (Correction: Bill Richardson and Barack Obama also raised their hands, but Dodd was the one who spoke. Don't let that fool you though Bill Richardson is a racist pro-Hispanic, pro amnesty candidate and Obama is clearly for amnesty).
So while Hillary supports them, so do most other Democrat candidates, since they didn't speak out against it.
This is an obvious attempt by Hillary Clinton to give illegal aliens privileges, yet deny that she supports them.
Tim Russert then puts it plain and clear "Do you the New York Senator, Hillary Clinton, support the New York Governor's Plan to give illegal immigrants driver's licenses? You told the New Hampshire Press 'it made a lot of sense'."
"You know Tim, this is where everybody plays gotcha." Hillary Clinton said.
And yes I'll play gotcha, Hillary. It's a simple yes or no answer. You either think illegal aliens should get a driver's license or you don't. There's no double talk. There's no beating around the bush. There's no "well maybe" type answers.

Nothing I can see. BUT someone told the Gov. Spitzer to cease and desist. All over the NY papers they spoke how he was bailing on the DL ideas. Next up? Charging internet companies the tax levies usually lifted as we buy state to state merchandise. From Amazon to Ebay the extra costs during the holiday season are not being well received. But? He's a Rookie also ? And neither he nor the Senator seem clear on their operations.
No need for 10, just FYI for ya!!! Aloha

Yes. She supports the Governors plans so if the Governor supports illegal aliens receiving drivers licenses then that means she supports illegal aliens receiving drivers license. I heard her say this on CNN on Lou Dobb's program. I don't remember which night. I believe it was last week.
It's not really her issue. They should have given her another question that still gets to the point. I don't think drivers licenses to aliens is the major problem. The illegals shouldn't be here and why are they here? Who is bringing them in?
Not all of them are just sneaking in.
My point is that this is actually a small issue when we should be focused on the larger issue. If we deal with the larger issue then the smaller issue should be easy.

This is what CNN writes about what she said
Hillary Clinton, D-New York, Sunday sought to further clarify her position on New York Gov. Elliot Spitzer’s controversial plan to give driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants, a position which she said she’s already made clear on “a number of occasions.”
Asked by reporters Sunday why it’s taken so long for clarification Clinton admitted she “wasn’t as clear as [she] should have been” but added, “I broadly support what governors like Elliot Spitzer are trying to do.”
“I think that it’s understandable that states are trying to fill a vacuum left by the failures of the federal government,” Clinton continued. “That is not an answer. I don’t want to see 50 states’ policies on immigration
“I think that it’s understandable that states are trying to fill a vacuum left by the failures of the federal government,” Clinton continued. “That is not an answer. I don’t want to see 50 states’ policies on immigration
“But I was in Des Moines [Iowa] yesterday, and I had three people come up to me and say that they had been hit in automobile accidents by undocumented workers, and they said ‘what are we supposed to do? We’re the ones that were injured. Our cars were damaged, and we get no relief because these people have no accountability, there’s no system that requires them to have insurance or anything else.’”

I heavily doubt that this might ever take place in spite of whomever wins. Immigration is likely one among the main severe matters for election, so the candidate might say something to get the Hispanic vote. In all certainty it is not handy for the government to legalize any unlawful immigrant, they do no longer look to be so stupid to furnish legalities whilst they're "assisting firms" to make extra money at the same time as the "Mexicans, Guatemalans, etc" are doing the paintings for under minimum salary. If the government supplies you any legal information like "drivers license" or green enjoying cards that is going to paintings against our financial equipment in view that those immigrants might have the potential to call for develop of pay and all reward tremendously much like a US citizen. i'm no longer annoying approximately Barack Obama, i'm extra annoying approximately what president Bush reported interior the State of The Union..."we ought to Open Our Borders". this suggests: Canada and Mexico = Globalization. we are able to ought to compete no longer only with our electorate, yet additionally with the canadians and the mexicans. that could be a extra scarier scenario...

She is for them - not by her words, but by her political leanings. When she was running for Senate the first time she had instructions on her website for illegals telling them how to vote.
