That is a good question. Human kind had to discover or invent fire, he had to learn for himself how to build shelters (other than caves) and what did he do before there was fire, clothing or shelter? God didn't provide them or food. Perhaps it is to get us to be innovative and do those things so WHEN WE GO TO HEAVEN, WHERE THERE MAY NOT BE ANY INVENTIONS, WE CAN FEND FOR OURSELVES BECAUSE HEAVEN OUTSIDE THE EARTH'S ATMOSPHERE IS SOMETHING LIKE MINUS 450 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT.
