Hi I am about to buy a ps3 and use it with a SDTV. Ok I have read that playing the PS3 on HDTV is great and that in SDTV it is still ok.
My question is people keep on saying that when you play it on HDTV you won't want to go back to SDTV. I play games on the PC too and I usually play them at 1280x1024 resolution, so if i get the PS3 will I not like it on SDTV.

I have a SDTV - games still look great! I'm planning to get HDTV in the future, but now they are too expensive. Yes, HDTVs make games look better. Trust me, you'll like PS3 games even after PC games (I prefer to play multiplatform games on PC and leave PS3 only for PS3 exclusives).

I have a SDTV but a great computer monitor. To be honest on SDTV you do not get full experince, but to be honest its the games on the PS3 for the most part look absolutely amazing on my SDTV. I suggest gettting it, a SDTV may not be the best, but it's the game that produces the graphics which will be amazing an HDTV makes them better, but by no means creates the whole experince.
