Driver errors are the main cause of auto accidents. Mistakes include tailgating, failure to signal turns and lane changes, and ignoring road and weather conditions. Unfortunately for those under the age of 25 - many of whom are extremely safe and considerate motorists - insurance statistics show that teenagers and those in their early 20s are more likely to be in an accident than any other age group. Which really sucks, because of the exorbitant price of car insurance. Once you pay for it, there ain't much left for the important things of life, like beer and soft drugs.

Impaired driver (drugs, drunk, ill, sleepy)

Speeding (driving too fast for conditions)

Environment (inclement weather, glare)

Inattention (doing ANYTHING other than driving)

I gave you four, but, there is something artifical about limiting oneself to just three.

Lack of attention.

Trying to multi task.

Not going the speed limit.

Driving while intoxicated....improper lane usage....excessive speed for conditions (notice I didn't say "speeding"...cause speed and conditions are relative).
