My religion is real, as are all others. (Anything that meets the definition of religion is a "real" religion.)

As for a higher power, I'm skeptical. Higher than what? The laws of nature? Nothing has ever been shown to violate the laws of nature. That would suggest that there is nothing above them, at least until other evidence suggests otherwise.

I want to believe in a higher power, and especially in life after death...but really I don't. I really do not know anything about a higher power.

An yes, obviously there are such things as religions which do exist, and have mostly caused wars, oppression and genocide as far as my understanding of history goes.

Jesus Christ didn't come to the earth to set up a religion. Christ came to set up a kingdom. Jesus said, "follow Me."

Jesus spoke of His Father God, the higher power. Jesus said that nothing is able to take us out of His Father's hand.

In a kingdom the King owns everything and the King provides and protects the citizens of His Kingdom. The King is away at this time, but He will return and He owns everything and He will claim it. He tells you to watch and pray that you are accounted worthy to stand in front of Him and to escape all the bad things that will be happening to the wicked. The King tells you that He will be returning quickly and at a time that no one knows about, so be ready so that He does not find you doing wrong.

God will return and claim His Creation.

Religion is real, certainly.

A higher power? Nothing other than arguably what it has created. I haven't personally met a creator, and I'm not going to take the Bible or any other tome's word for it that it exists.

Edit: Miss Melissa: Giggity!

I know that everything that exists Comes from Our Heavenly Father.

That's what I know about a Higher Power.

I've spoken to Odin before and trust me, he IS real. 'Higher power' I dunno, he's the founder of my race but there were others with him and possibly before him. His power is in wisdom, age, blood, tradition, and the undying blessings and honor from children of a culture that refuses to die.
I guess it would take too long to go through all the rest of the gods.

Religion is man made. A personal relationship with Jesus is what it is all about. My life has gotten much better and more productive since I gave my life to Christ.

Religions are all man made.

I think there is a God and He is not that murdering Abrahamic monster.
