I understand that a wolly mamouth and an elephant are different. They have different qualities and characteristics that have changed over time. So do humans. But how on earth does any change over time warrant the title of a completely different species. Just because our craniums and jaws are now shaped differently does not mean that we evolved into or from another species. We're all human from beginning until now. God just created us with the ability to adapt to our surroundings. Does this make sense?

Even large changes dont account for a complete change of species
A vitamin C deficiency shared between us and apes proves nothing. You could use that argument and say that Humans and sponges share the same vitamin deficiency so we evolved from spongebob.

Why not ask my question here? Scientist call my belief a "Creationalist Theory" and analyze the details of it, so in turn I should be allowed to call evolution "The evolutionary doctrine" if I so choose and who are you people think you are to say different?

Creation was a device used to explain how the world and humans came about to people who had a very simple mind and no eductation.
Sadlt there are many still around!!!
Do you really suggest that God was too stupid to use evolution as his tool? or in saying that "God just created us with the ability to adapt to our surroundings" mean you accept that humans have evolved?
Humans evolved from monkies and apes. The science is well defined.
The Strepsirrhini, or “wet-nosed” primates, which include lemurs and lorises, branched off from others around 63 million years ago
Old World monkeys and apes divided from New World monkeys about 40 million years ago
Aegyptopithecus zeuxis, which probably resembles the common ancestor of New World monkeys and apes, lived about 29 million years ago
The apes split from Old World monkeys about 25 million years ago
Humans and chimpanzees diverged 5-7 million years ago
Of the macaque's nearly 3 billion DNA base pairs, 93.5 per cent are identical to those in the human genome. This is not unexpected for a species whose lineage diverged from our own about 25 million years ago. The human and chimp genomes, which diverged around 6 million years ago, are about 98 per cent identical.
But the chimps probably evolved more than we did! 233 chimp genes, compared with only 154 human ones, have been changed by selection since chimps and humans split from their common ancestor about 6 million years ago (Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences)

No. What you are saying does not make sense.
Study evolution before you decide it is not true. Everything that we know about biology is consistent with Evolution. Nothing that we know is inconsistent with Evolution.
Most Christians have no problem with Evolution. Half of the Christians in the world ar Catholics -- and even Pope John Paul II said that Evolution is much more than mere theory. Before you discount what the Catholics say about Evolution -- you should realize that it is the Catholic Church who made the original claim that the Bible is the holy word of God. Therefore, saying you don't believe them diminishes your belief in the Bible.
Stop speaking from ignorance. Learn something.

Evolution is only a theory, not a demonstrable fact. It's a possible explanation for the diversity of species and the commonality of DNA. There is much evidence in support of it. And if it turns out to be the true nature of life on this planet, although probably more involved than we can ever conceive, who's to say God didn't design the mechanism?

How does "we were created by a god, specifically the one I believe in" make any MORE sense?
It most certainly is possible to evolve to the point of being a different species. It just takes MILLIONS of years of sloooooow changes, small adaptations, etc.

I really don't know why anyone would BELIEVE in evolution either. It is a scientific theory backed by mountains of evidence with no valid evidence to discredit it.
There is no need for BELIEF. It is evident that it is true.

Ignoring clear evidence and fact is indeed your right.

The pattern of the past branching of populations is preserved in the genes. We share genes with chimps that are not shared with gorillas and orangutans.

Mammoths did not come from mastodons. People did not come from apes. Each species has its own branch on the tree of evolution. For humans, we come from a common ancestor as apes, not that we come from apes.

Not sure if you understand this or not...
But evolution is not a religious subject. If you don't understand it, ask this question in the biology section.
Science is not out to get you, or your religion. It just states the facts.
Learn the facts, and then compare the facts to your religion.

No. You just listed your lack of knowledge. Go and study evolution properly and see if you have the same difficulties.
