produce shades of gray? And doesn't everyone had things they are very black and white on?

In reality, many things can exist with shades of gray. However, truly important things cannot. Morality, for instance has only two choices, right or wrong. Truly important issues are binary. You cannot be sort of pregnant. You cannot be almost honest. You cannot be kind of dead.

Looking for gray areas while seeking concensus may be commendable. But how do you make murder sort of immoral? How can you justify molesting a child? Beware of those who try to find gray areas in important moral issues. There really is no wiggle room when it comes to what is right and what is wrong.

This is why moral relativism is defective.

You can't ride the fence in life, If you aren't on God's side you are choosing the devil's. I'd say life is black and white, just because we may not know what is the right thing to do in certain situations doesn't make gray, it just means we don't know and if we ask God will lead is in the right path.

Perhaps black and white are shades of grey.
I think there are absolutes in life so yes.

I beg to differ. God says they are black and white. I believe God who has absolutes and who is sovereign. God is truth and if man doesn't know God then man doesn't know Truth.
