Try one of these REALLY WORKS!! for pain anywhere... when pain mis gone u won't need the meds. You probably should slowly get off the meds like cut them in half for a few days first instead of going cold turkey.

The Miracle Trigger incorporates the healing forces of acupuncture to zap away stress. Place it on the bodies stress zones, push the plunger, and the two crystals inside rub together to create a small stimulus.

I went cold turkey with anti-depressants and suffered from withdrawal symptoms.

The idea is to slowly drop down from your painkillers. You don't need to go cold turkey. Just take it slow and hang in there!

You have the right idea to want to quit the habit because this is a very nasty addiction. Something you should be aware of is that going cold turkey is extremely dangerous. If you quit cold turkey after taking that much percocet for a month you are going to be extremely ill and possibly have to be hospitalized. It is just not advisable to do that...it is better to slowly wean yourself off of them.

withdrawals really suck. i feel very sorry for you.

if you find you can't take it and relapse, keep ur doctors appointment. be completely honest with them and they can get you into treatment (in or outpatient). there are medications they can give you to wean you off the drugs without withdrawals (suboxone for example). also go to an NA meeting. it'll be weird at first, but it can become your 2nd family.

and if you hang out with people who do the same thing...get away from them. find new, clean friends.

good luck. one day at a time.

Not much you can do for that at all...it is withdrawls that you are having and they suck....i have been in the same position before........it really sucks but be strong and don't take them!! What is the doctor going to do for you?? Put you on a different kind of drug to ween you off.....don't do it b/c then you will more than likly get addicted to that new drug......you don't have much longer until you start feeling better....good luck to you!!!

Here is what I suggest to get you over the worst part of the withdrawals.

To help with the withdrawals take hot bathes with 2c. of dissolved Epsom salts and soak for 30 minutes. The skin is the biggest organ of elimination and this will help pull out the drugs. Use a loofa to clean the pores and this will help pull the drugs out even faster.

I recommend you drink purified water mixed with mineral water 50/50. This will replace the minerals that are exiting your body continuously.

I suggest that adults and children drink 40 ounces of water per 100 pounds of body weight every day and 2c. a day of fresh carrot juice, to flush the medicine out of your liver. Taking 500mg of calcium and magnesium twice a day will help you to relax.

Drink chamomile tea throughout the day and evening to help you stay relaxed.

Use a powdered fiber supplement twice daily to pull the drugs out of your intestines where they store.

Two of the questionnaires in this forum did follow this program to withdraw from drugs and it did help. I've enclosed a link where you can read their response to this program.

You are experiencing withdrawal symptoms. Not much you can do. Stay strong. Get encouragement from friends and family. Try googling withdrawal symptoms they maybe can offer better advice. I hope you get better soon.
