Some of todays open source software is as good or better then what is sold. In my small business I use Open Office for my Office productivity and Gimp for any graphics work. There are also Office productivity suites available on the web from Google and Yahoo. Even Microsoft is starting to get on the open source band wagon.

The use of "open source" can save a small business untold $'s. I think it's the way to go.

I would recommend Quickbooks Pro. We have it at our office and it has made everything so much easier. It is an excel program so all the files are easy to export and import. It is very user friendly and inexpensive.
