Will all of the deaths in the Iraq War be worth it if in the future Iraq is free and safe? If all of those people have have the chance to be free and safe like we as Americans are, will the war have been worth it? How much is your freedom worth to you? What would you be willing to do to insure your children and grandchildren grow up free?

Saddam Hussein and Iraqis never threatened my Freedom, So no the war in Iraq has had more negative than positive consequences. George Bush has taken away more of my freedoms with provisions in the Patriot act, violation of the 4th and 14th amendment of the constitution and invasions of personal privacy, than Saddam ever did.

To the idiot below me: learn more about the region and culture. Saddam ran a Secular state. That is the opposite of Theocracy, (like Iran), and Al-Qaeda) one of Al-qaeda's stated goals was not only to remove U.S. from holy lands but also to topple secular states like Saddams. So we actually helped fulfill one of Al-qaedda's objectives by removing Saddam. he had been at war with Iran for 10 years and kept them manageable, do you think its a coincidence that Saddam is gone and now we are having problems with Iran? We should have left him to take the hits from Iran rather than us.

Saddam is dead, we won. All we are doing now is teaching the Iraqi police and Army to take over when we leave.

And to the idiot above me, Saddam did threaten the destruction of America many many times. He, himself wouldn't have done it, he would have made it possible by paying another radical Muslim group to do it.
