I don't call that convenient, I call it a nonsense trap...

1. Why do you only settle for physical proof? There are many things in life that cannot be physically proven, like true love. Do you refuse to believe in that?

2. I don't believe that simply reading the Bible will solve EVERY life problem, and the Bible itself doesn't claim to be capable of that. It's too simplistic to look at things that way.

3. Again, I think this statement is too simplistic. God doesn't DO everything. We DO a lot of things. Many evil things happen in this world that are obviously against God's will because He allowed us to have a will of our own. Not sure who you are talking to, but it makes sense that you are suspicious of such simplistic theology.

4. Ummm...how would this be "convenient" to you? I would think it would be decidedly inconvenient!

5. That's another load of hooey. Really, friend, there are much more mature Christian traditions than whatever you've been fed -- theology that invites you to actually use your brain. You might want to check it out.

The bible says they had seen him rise up to the clouds. The bible clearly says the flesh can never enter heaven.

Convient?

Not at all. That is why so many people CAN'T accept the Gospel.

It's too simple for them-they feel that there needs to be something more-& there ISN'T!
