Of course I do. My family shuns me because of my beliefs, even though they believe that all religions are a path to God and are His way of reaching out to people with different personalities. Funny how they are tolerant of ALL religions EXCEPT Christianity (and, no, I am not one to force my beliefs on others. I only discuss my views with family when they ask my opinion, which is almost never). How do I feel about it? On the one hand, it is very hurtful. They (my sisters and mother) can accept everyone else and their beliefs, but not me and mine. They treat my children VERY differently and we are rarely invited to family get togethers. That hurts, no matter who you are. But, on the other hand, I count it as a blessing that I can know a small portion of the pain and isolation that Christ felt when He was scorned by His people. It is a small price to pay for the great reward we will receive!

Just because Christians so often hate others because of their beliefs doesn't mean that those they hate will feel the same in return. It is actions, not beliefs, that make people feel a certain way about you.

How can it be possible for hated to exist when there are love.

However we are just normal human beings, when we hated someone is only we have so much love for that someone, and that hated usually doesn't last long. Simply saying is not hated is just anger.(If we understand and be aware of our emotion)

I just ponder on these words and get comfort:

Matthew 5:11-12
(11) Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
(12) Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Romans 12:14
(14) Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.

Jesus said that if you know Him and preach the truth, you will be hated by some.

It is noteworthy that catholics are defended by the unsaved world. That is because catholicism is not the truth. They are of the world, and that's why the world loves them.

Mostly on here. But, if people ask me to explain why I am happy, I will reply "Jesus lives in my heart". I can tell that is not the answer they want to hear. Everyone wants a quick fix to their problems.

Yes, I do. Some people think Christians are intolerant and simple-minded. The anti-Christian bigotry and insults get tiresome.

But Jesus told us that His followers would be treaded badly. Look what they did to Him!

I don't dislike anyone for loving Jesus.
Telling me I'm going to hell and forcing your morality through the government doesn't win you any friends, though.
