There's this girl I'm starting to like, she has been flirting with me for more than a month in school, we make eye contact a lot, she smiles at me and says hi almost everyday and other stuff happened (like she was all over me at the halloween party)! The problem is we haven't had a real conversation... Last week she came to me and asked me my name I didn't have the time to answer because her teacher was calling her so I continued this conversation the next day, she asked me my name and I got hers, she also told me that I look like her friend! What should I do now? I really want to get to know her! A close friend of mine talks to her a lot but I don't think she likes him... The problem is that I'm shy and he's not!

First of all, she obviously LIKES you and is willing to make the first move! Second, if you let this chance pass you by you will be kicking yourself. It is ok to be shy, but too much shyness can hinder your in relationships. Make time to engage in conversation! Courage= putting yourself out there regardless of getting hurt or rejected. Go For it!

Hey Pulse, I know youre enjoying that experience. And its good she's smiling and giving you the eye: and its good you got her name, but you didn't get her number? You have to seal the deal. You got her name fanastic! But you have to get the number; you have to see how she reacts when you ask for that #. When you do that, set a date w/ her and see what she says when you do that. THINGS TO LOOK FOR: Does she hesitate when she gives you her #? Does she give it with a great big smile? Does she cancel on you? You want to find the truth not games!! Im concern about a few things though. 1) She was all over you and didn't even know your name? Then she said you look like her friend? Humm. I don't know..I would be careful about this puppy: She might be a little loose: if you know what I mean! Do these simple steps I mentioned and look at what she does while your on this date. That's if she doesn't cancel on ya'. Good Luck!!

Talk to your friend and ask him to set up a little get together for all three of you. Make it a group thing so there is no pressure and go to dinner or something where you two can get a chance to talk.

Next time you get a chance to meet and chat, you might do well to explain this worry of yours!

You might say "Hey - I think you're really nice, but I see that you're chatting with a lot. I'm kind of worried, that he'd steal you away and I would get to know you better like I want to."

Something like that.

Ask her to stop with you for a cup of coffee.
