According to Islam the lesson that which God wanted to give for all of humanity was that of Original Forgiveness rather than Original Sin. Islam teaches us this lesson and informs us that all newborns are without the burden of any sin on their shoulders. They are innocent. From the story the theme is easy to understand. God created man – Man committed sin – Man turned towards God for forgiveness – God forgave man for indeed God is Most Merciful.

The Lord Almighty knew that if he gave free will and freedom to exercise that free will, some will obey Him to the point of being willing to kill their only son, born after many years of waiting, while others may not even be able to resist the apple from a forbidden tree.
Sins and blessings are created when the Lord Almighty gives a Command and gives us freedom to obey or disobey Him. He knew that some would use this "opportunity" to better themselves, as He Almighty would never command anything wrong, but in each command of His have many blessings embedded in them, and disobedience has consequences.
Thus began the long process of separting the obedient from the disobedient through the process of commands and freedom, until by the end of times, all humans who would be obedient to the Almighty would have had a chance to gather blessings for ever in the presence of the Almighty.
Animals, trees and other creatures of the Almighty were not given this privilege. Only humans are given this opportunity. It would have been unfair to give them the opportunity but not also have a penalty for disobedience. It would have also been unfair if the opportunity itself was denied to all humans because some or many would disobey. Why should the good be made to pay a price for what the bad may do, who choose to disobey, when men such Abraham were willing to take obedience to that next level when most humans would have no excuses for disobeying the Almighty.
I hope this puts the whole scheme of things in perspective, somewhat. As a Muslim I believe all commands of the Almighty are an opportunity for us to obey and rise. If some or many disobey, then that is really their problem, as they too can gain and rise.
It is like a billionaire saying come to the bank tomorrow at 10:00 and I will distribute a million dollars to everyone who comes. Some heeded the invitation, and presented themselves at the bank and received the money. Some disobeyed and were losers and were grinding their teeth out of anger and frustration (hell). Is it the fault of those who obeyed and came, for the loss of those who did not obey and did not listen.
I hope this makes sense.

WOW. I'm in awe at the "genius" behind some of these questions. Firstly God never said it was an apple. Check the bible. He calls it a fruit. FRUIT!! I don't know where apple came from. Second eating the FRUIT obviously had bad consequence (you can read your bible to find them bc I don't feel like listing them). Eve was warned against these consequences. So how on earth is it intellect to do something that you were warned not to do?

1. The Bible says nothing about an apple tree.
2. We were commanded not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
3. God gave man an intellect and a free will to chose to obey or not.
4. Eve was deceived by the serpent.
god bless

it fairly is genuine that many sense God is omniscient - understanding actual each and every thing. in fact, he can if he so needs. He would not continually want. He makes use of this skill selectively. in ingredient of actuality, there is no want for him to properly known each and every thing ahead. The Bible actual exhibits that normally God would not opt for to properly known ahead, yet in certainty, enables issues to advance. working occasion: Abraham and his faithfulness. The account specifically comments that God did no longer know till AFTER the attempt that Abraham does no longer withhold his son Isaac. certainly, God examined Abraham for this purpose – to verify such ideas. Well, if Adam and Eve were innocent, and did not know sin, how can they be accused of committing sin by eating of the tree of knowledge of good and evil? They were innocent at the time!
It's NOT an apple tree in the bible folks.

Trees.
Plural.
"Genesis 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: "
Apparently God made several of these crazy trees with his powers on them, but only warned A&E about one of them (most likely because he WANTED them to eat from that one).

The tree of knowledge is a metaphor for the churches control over people. They are saying "Stay ignorant and you are better off", and people actually still buy into this load of crap.
