Good question.... Jesus is often depicted as a white person also...

These pictures and images are made up by people in that person's own image, I guess.... I'd say Jesus was dark skinned, or like a Middle Eastern person today. God isn't a person per se so I don't think He has a skin color. However, the color white is often associated with purity while the color black is associated with darkness.

God is neither white or black, He is a Spiritual Being. Man depicted God of being many things, such as white, black, orange(the sun) and grey (pile of rocks). Men do not have infinite wisdom and understanding. Some follow beliefs for absolutely no reason. That is why there are so many religions. I believe Christianity is the one true religion because it is based off the Bible and its historical, statistical, documental, and archeological evidence behind it.

God is an invention of a white patriarchal society. Black people and Asians invented gods too, and they look like- guess what- Blacks and Asians. I studied Asian martial arts, so I know some Asian people, and I've seen pictures of some of their gods, e.g. Pan Ku is the Chinese creator and Yu Ti is the Jade Emperor of Heaven. Some people try to steal the white god. They should stick to their own gods.

Maybe because there really is no black skin or white skin. We go from white white to black black, but the truth is we have various shades of brown skin. I think Jesus looked like most Middle East people look.

The truth is, Christ was middle eastern, meaning he probably looked more like Osama Bin Laden than most of the depictions we are presented with. Nothing ticks me off more than a blond haired, blue eyed Jesus painting or figurine. Why we feel we have the right to create Him on our own image, I will never know.

Brightest Blessings

Well God is the light I guess. In the Old Testament moses went up and talked to God and when he came back down his skin glowed a white color. I would not call him a color at all because he is the light.

Color is irrelevant to God, color is only relevant to humans with color issues.

We all come from God, all people in all colors, not just black or white. God is like the spectrum of light shining into a crystal and we come out as the rainbow. We are all one.

I would love Jesus in any color.
