so i have ahd this thing for this guy for a ong time and my friend dated him but they broke up and now he wants to get with me and i dont know if i should or not. i mean she did it to me but is it right for me to do it back to her?

If you're saying it's okay because you're being vengeful, no, it's not okay. Just because she did it to you does not give you a free pass to do it back to her.
Talk to your friend; ask her if it would bother her if you dated her ex. If she says yes, you should not pursue this guy. You could lose a friend because of it, and your relationship might not last with him (since he sounds like a player, going from one friend to the next). Then you'd lose two people instead of one.

I would stay away -- You don't want to date your friends X because that is going to defiantly get in the way of your friendship, because no one wants to hang out with there bff and their x... It's going to be very uncomfortable for you and you are going to be the bad guy. Guys are not worth it...
Trust me -- I've been out of high school for 4years now and I cherish the friends I have from back in school... I could care less about my loser X's...

you should def. talk to your friend and ask her if she minds if you date him. tell her that youve liked him for a while and since things didnt work out between them, then she may have no problem with it. being honest is the best way to go about it. remember, always treat others how you would want to be treated. and she treated you bad, so be the bigger person and do whats right! good luck!

It's a free country. It's not like it's her ex-husband or anything! Go for it. Just talk to her first, would be the only thing I'd suggest, and just tell her what you plan to do and that you don't mean to hurt her. Good luck.

I'm taking it she knew u liked him when she started going out with him - so theres no moral issue for me there - maybe the three of you should get togeather :-) -- joke, seriously I'd give it a go, sounds as if your friend gave you little consideration when she started going out with him..... Thing is you're not doing it to get back at her - you're doing it cos u like him. Thats it!

Talk to your friend...I've been in this situation too and my friend dated my ex....it hurt at first but i got over it...I would have been ok with it if she had talked to me first. Your friends are important and you dont want them to be hurt...especially if its a guy that come between you two!
