Ok I have been living with my mother for four months. I finally found an apartment. To move in I need $237 in all for electric bill and deposit with is cheap. About two weeks ago I worked at the school as a Sub-teacher for five days. So I get paid next week $250 before tax. I need the money to move in my apartment next moth but my mother wants $50 dollars of that. She knows I need the money. We can't get along at all and plus she don't want me there. I thank God she let me stay until I finally found my own place. What should I do? I can't afford to give her anything if I do I won't have enough money to move out her place. What should I do?

Have a sitdown talk w/ Mom and tell her what You can pay and set up some type of payment plan that you two can agree on. How about a roommate!,,,Getting 2 jobs to pay her... Don't forget to start saving NOW.. It may not be much but it adds up.
You have a Mom still, both of you are special and don't see eye to eye but that is good. It means that you are growing and trying. We Moms get protective and want to help you weather the storm. You still have to GO THRU THE STORM> GOOD LUCK

Since she raised you from birth and allowed you to live with her so far, you cannot deny her the petty amount she is asking. However you too need the money, you may borrow the amount from some one known to you.If that is not possible, you should assure your mother that you will give her more amount than what she is asking as soon you get another job. I hope she will agree to it in the hope of getting a few dollars extra.

Move into your place. It has to take priority but then pay your mother back as soon as possible. She probably wants the money now because she thinks once you move out, she will never see it.
Prove her wrong.

Just tell your mom the situation you are in and that once you get on your feet, you will pay her the $50.00 you owe her, hopefully she will understand.
