Dude you're being EMO again. Duh! A necklace with the I love you in it sucks. Don't give something like that to her.

Two months may be a little early for a gift like that, unless you have both already shared the I Love You's together.

An engraved gift would be lovely though. How about an iPod engraved with something poetic (since you're a poet). [iPod shuffles are not too expensive if you are on a budget, and engraving is free.] Like if she's a Jim Morrison fan, you could engrave something like: "Thank you for lighting my fire."

And then you could pre-load the iPod with some songs that are meaningful to both of you.

Hope that helped and Merry Christmas!

No I don't thing this would be a good idea. You've only been with her for two months. You don't want to scare the poor girl off. The poem would be nice and maybe some nice perfume, or earrings would probably be a better gift.

Hmm how about a heart instead? You don't want to push it to far unless you mean it. Or scare her off for that matter. Those words are better left unsaid if you just say them because you think it's cute. I'm sure she'll appreciate a nice heart. Don't spend too much though, it is only a 2 month relationship.

I think "I love you" is too strong if you've only been dating 2 months. You may think you do, but it probably hasn't been long enough and you're still in the honeymoon period. Wait about six months to a year before making that kind of confession.

A necklace would be a great gift, but I think you should nix the "I love you" part.
