They will not cause harm, but you won't get anything positive out of them.

well. i am a doctor and have been a doctor for 12 years already. You see pills and such usually expire a few days before they seriously go bad. but diet pills on the other had, tend to expire on the certified date because of the chemicals that are used in them. so i advise you to not take them. spend your money on something that actually works. like getting off you fat behind and run some laps. good luck! :)

many medications including most prescriptions use experiations for marketing purposes to make you buy more, not because they lose anything in that time.
Look at the ingredients. If there's anything natural sounding in them, I wouldn't keep them that long. If they've changed shape, color or scent is a good indication.

It would be best to toss them. Most pills can have extended shelf life if left in the right conditions. However I would think it would have lost it effectivness by now or could make you sick.
