If I were u I'd be in that dr.s office everday if I have to in order for child to get the right treatment because obviously he hasn't if he's been this sick for 3 weeks!!
If he's not keeping anything down, u should keep him with alot of fluids. Watch him closely because u don't want him to dehydrate. My oldest daughter always had a problem her stomach and I used to make her rice water. Just put rice to cook like if u were to make white rice but dont let it dry up, the water that is in the rice will turn cloudy once that happens it's done strain out the water put alittle sugar just to sweeten it alittle & put it a bottle. That helped my girls all the time when they were sick like that. But most importantly take him to the dr./ hospital!! Good Luck!!

I am not trying to scare you but he could have something called a rotavirus. My niece had it, it can be contracted lots of different ways, most common is from changing tables, either your own or those ones at stores, if they arent cleaned properly and bodily fluids are on there and then your child puts his hand in his mouth. You need to go to your pediatrician to get a test to see if that is what it is, it will have to run its course as it is a virus, I dont remember what all the doc had said about it but I know my niece was on the BRAT diet which is Bannana, Rice Applesauce and Toast. All this things help bind a child up which will help with nutrition. and make sure to give the little guy pedialyte or pedi asure.

If this has been going on for three weeks, you need to take the child in to see a doctor. It is NOT normal for a child to be sick like that, losing weight, for three weeks. That is a very serious problem.

He probably has some type of an infection (ear infections being the most common at that age) that needs to be treated. If it is an ear infection and is left untreated it can cause deafness.

Get the kid to a doctor....

you should be ashamed of yourself. The baby needs to be seen by a Dr. What are you afraid of do you not have the money? The time? If that is the problem and you can not take care of this child you should really look into agencies that can help. You are responsible for the life of that child at 13 months old he is not capable of doing it. needed.
