Have you ever seen proof of gods existence?

Relax, I'm not trying to flame. I just was thinking about this video that my grandparents have. It is a home video taken at their church of a preacher who died of a heart attack while preaching. In the video, the preacher got really into his sermon and ended up shouting and then falling over dead. A bunch of people crowded around him while the camera was rolling. About a minute later a white bird flew up from the center of the crowd (where the preacher lay dead) and ascended diagnally and flew out of camera view. No one saw any white bird while they were there but it's on the camera clear as day. That's how I know that god exists. Anyone else have anything that they think is proof?

For those of you who don't believe me and think that this is simpley a "story." You should know that I'm not making this up at all. And white birds don't necessarily mean that god exists but c'mon. They were in an enclosed church and a preacher just died and a bird flew up from the crowd. Stuff like that just doesn't happen.

About the "light strikes." I considered that it could be a camera problem like that but the bird was flapping its wings and moved up diagnally in a perfect motion. Plus it looked exactly like a bird. Color and all. It was fast and you probably only saw the bird for a second but I paused the video and it's so clearly a bird that I don't think it could be a camera problem.

So far, I only saw the opposite:

- War everywhere in the world
- 77% of the world is living in poverty
- diseases (cholera, AIDS, etc., etc.)
- weather catastrophies (Catrina, Tsunami)
- other catastrophies (9-11!!!)
- every 2 minutes a woman gets raped in the USA
- every 3 minutes a CHILD gets killed on the world's roads
- etc. etc. etc.

If there is a God, then WHY are the people in the world suffering so much???

This one incident you experienced might have a logical explanation that you can't (yet) see, that's why you think it's "God's hand"... Actually, come to think of it, you now believe in God, because you saw a white bird on some home video??? Come on, if that's all the proof you need for something, you probably also believe in Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny... Somebody was dying of a heart attack there, of course nobody saw that bird! All the eyes were on the priest!!!

Hey, don't take it personal, don't want to offend you. It's just a little too simple to believe something because of one thing that you saw on a home video. As for me, I don't believe in a God in the biblical way. I do believe in some kind of a higher force that is WITHIN ALL of us, but not ABOVE us... But most people don't know about it and don't know how to deal with it. I wish I knew...

And for SpacePrincess, who wrote (further down here): "As for a bird appearing in an enclosed building, it is not unheard of." I have seen birds inside an enclosed building MANY times: shopping malls, hotels, restaurants, train stations, etc. etc. Birds go everywhere to find a place to hide, breed or just to find food!!! So, it's surely NOT unheard of... You are too quick with that assumption.

Hmm. I think that what you saw has given you a huge increase in faith but to say it is proof is pushing the definition of the word past its limits.

I am not saying you are wrong however. I have had touches from several Gods and Goddesses. Noird, Odin and Idun I have just had scant breif visions of or been aware that they were there. Freya I have an almost daily conversation with. Do I see this as proof? No I don't. At the end of the day we only have our own interprtetation of what we see hear touch smell and taste. We must all make our own decisions based on the experiences we have had.

All this proves is that a white bird flew up out of the crowd. They were probably too concerned about the preacher's condition to notice the bird.

My mother was very close to death and had to have an emergency operation. There was a very good chance that she would not survive it. My brother and I were both in prayer during the surgery that took five hours. When we took a break and went outside the hospital for a breath of fresh air, we looked up into the night sky. There was a cloud formation of a perfect cross in the sky.
We went back into the hospital and a couple of hours later, the surgeon came and reported to us that she came through the operation very well. She had a full recovery. She was 84 at the time.
I am positive that Jesus was there in the operating room and was guiding the surgical team. He was just giving us reassurance that HE was in control.

Now that's a video I'd like to watch. As for a bird appearing in an enclosed building, it is not unheard of. I have experienced two such occurrences in my home, and one was a duck.

The fact that I'm alive is proof. I was suffering from homosexual feelings, I was ready to kill myself because I was so miserable. God stepped in and intercepted me, leading me down a new path that eventually led to my freedom. My life was radically changed, something I had not been able to do on my own.

When I Take Photographs, I get what's called Light Strikes sometimes.
I took a Photo for a friend to give to his Girlfriend.
In the Light Strike, you can see the Face, Clear as Day, of a demon.
Yep!!! Bad angels are Real.
GOOD ones too!!!

Other than that, I have seen Alot of Evidence that GOD Exist Personally, but cannot Prove it.

when me an my girlfriend were about to break up I had a feeling about something not sure what I flipped a coin and in my thoughts i asked....will she leave em. if so it will be heads if not tails....it landed on heads EVERytime...I asked another ??? and it landed on tails, i said maybe its just the coin and tried it again asked same question and it went to heads........two weeks later we broke up.


yea it could be something else...but honestly i don't beleive it was. I truelly beleive I was being communicated with.

Don't let this idiot ever tell you below that you've never seen proof. You saw it with your own eyes so therefore it is proof. But if you really believe in God and his existence then you should not have to have proof. Religion is not about proof. It never has been. In order to believe in something and worship something, no matter what it may be that you are worshiping or believing, you have to have FAITH. That's all it takes. Always remember that. You can't look for proof of God's existence because it probably wont happen. Yeah, miracles happen everyday, but God asks you to have faith in what you are believing in and not look for answers as to why how when where: God.
