I was at a club a few weeks ago (halloween), and apparently I brushed up against this girl I didn't know in a way she didn't like, but instead of a warning I got a swift knee to the groin. Now, the scene was loud and a bit crowded so it went unnoticed, and after a moment I managed to get up, though I was pretty peeved. She had not gone away, so I kicked her in the box and descretely left the club before seeing the results of said revenge.

So my question, how do you feel about the above situation? I am not asking about any legal liabilities, just for general thought on it.

If you were being a wise a** at the time you brushed up against her, then you deserved what you got. On the other hand, if it was completely un-intentional, she was out of line by taking such drastic measures......therefore retaliation was in order.

Ouch, damn thats pretty harsh!

Clubs are pretty rough and since it can get VERY crowded it doesn't take much for one persons spilled drink to turn into a brawl and where I live the gangs run the clubs so you have to watch who you cross.

That said what you did was harsh but I can't say I wouldn't have done the same thing in your situation, although you might want to think first before leaving the club and potentially getting jumped by the girls guy friends. There's also the 2 wrongs don't make a right and I think you'd have been better to air on the side of caution in a club enviroment.

I had a situation in a club where a girl I didn't know was getting hassled by her ex and she begged me to call security, I did and him and his friend were kicked out. I only thought after that I ran the risk of getting my *** kicked when I left, luckily they didn't wait around.

A woman should never kick a man in the groin. unless in self defense. they do not realize how much it really hurts.

its the same as someone hitting you in the guts with a bat.

the first instinct is to kill them.
it not that easy to regain control of yourself.
but after a few minutes it possible.
but if they did not have a very good reason,
they will be sorry.

your actions are understandable.
but only if you did not intentionally provoke her.

That depends on if what you did was intentional or not. You said you brushed up on her in a way she didn't like.....if it was an accident and you were just minding your own business, then, even though people say eye for and eye leaves everyone blind, that was fine what u did.

If you were rubbing up on this random chick intentionally, and trying to get her attention, what you did was not right, you should have come on to her more respectfully in the first place.

As an x bartender and bouncer, I found women can be just as big of A/H's as men. She threw the first kick out, you returned the favor. Rule of Thumb "Treat a lady like a lady Until she Acts like a Man" there are just as many women in prison for murder as there are men. Equality Man, equal rights and all that good B/S. But as the bouncer I would have thrown both of you out, as it takes two to Tango.

That's kind of after the fact when you retaliated. You should have handled it immediately, but not by returning the kick.
You could have either said something to her or had her charged with assault.

She was wrong for what she did.But you lowered yourself to her level when you kicked her.A male should never harm a female.I kind of can't blame you though

Wow. Shameful. On BOTH parts. She was wrong first, but your behavior is inexcuseable also.

Two ways to look at it - you stooped to her level and your suppose to be a man OR
Two wrongs don't make a right OR
You reap what you sow OR
Eye for an eye OR
Never mind .................
