Not trying to be gross, just thought there might be something wrong with my digestive system. I don't eat corn a lot and noticed the kernels were imbedded in my stools, as if they weren't digested properly.

A couple of people hit it right on the head- corn contains undigestable carbohydrates that we all call "fiber" that will go right through us. There is no need to worry about diverticulitis- you'd know you were sick! Fiber keeps things going, helps get rid of some cholesterol, and adds bulk to make us feel fuller.

Everyone who eats corn will find it in their stools. The body doesnt digest it in the same way as other food. Nothing to worry about.

I have no idea why this is, but I do think most everyone passes corn whole. It seems to not matter how much you
chew it.

So I doubt there is anything wrong with your digestive system.

Eat corn on the cob again and you will see what I mean.

That happens to everyone, so don't worry :) The corn kernels aren't digestable. It's good, though--helps clean your system.

I've said it before and will say it again - corn is the miracle food that will cure world starvation. It is the only food that can be recycled after you poop it out. That is god's way of ensuring humankind don't starve.
