It doesn't really annoy me when they're ahead of me as much as when it's a two-lane and they're beside me and decide to nudge up. This happened to me last night: I was in a two-lane and the first one at the red light and the person beside me stayed about 20 or 30 feet back from the line. Right before the light turned green, they moved up to the line and all I could think was "Was all that REALLY necessary?".

Not especially. But I did see a guy edge forward so much that he'd actually blocked the opposite junction with his car - the junction that the light was on green for. That was shocking, cos he hadn't just overshot the line, he'd edged and edged and edged so far. It annoys me when people have their heads in the clouds and miss the light turning green though.

Annoy me? How does it hurt me if the car in front of me moves forward?
If anything, it tells me that they are ready to go when the light turns green....that's a refreshing change.

Nope, it doesn't annoy me. Actually, it helps me out a bit.
If he rolls up earlier, it gives more space between the two of us. Thus, I can start rolling to gain a bit of momentum before I even touch the gas. With a V8, I need all the gas mileage I can muster.

Not really,, I realize some people can't control their ways and I am glad I am not one of them especially in a car...I just think they are rude or in a huge hurry for some reason, I try NOT to give anyone the power to get to me especially jerks..

Well, I agree and disagree with the dislike of them but, your eyes should be on the traffic light, not the car in front of you.

a bit, but more annoying is when they then don't go right away when the light turns. In such a hurry they couldn't wait, then ooops, not so rushed I guess after all.
