I have known more christians who do more messed up stuff than I do. I am kind hearted I dont drink nor smoke I don't have the urge to curse....Yet I spoken with several preachers and I hung out with some and most of them are worse than I am and then when I get on the topic of religion they tell me because someone is not a 'Christian' they are going to hell.

I asked...Why?

A preacher said because they are not saved.
Also I would say why do you do messed up stuff or curse like that, The preacher says...well we aren't perfect, we are human.Yes that is true,.

you aren't perfect none of us are. Yet the point is, you are SUPPOST to do certain things. You point your finger at non christians who beleive in GOD. Who do you think you are? You cannot choose.

So..I guess my question is, My cousin beleives in GOD I do also.my cousin is more innocent than me though he is not christian. He does not go to church much and he prays more than the average christian. So..Is he going to hell?

Not if he knows Jesus he's not going to hell.

I share your concern about the pastors and priests in the world today. However, do you know what God says in His holy Bible, God says "judgment begins in the house of God."

God will deal with that preacher shortly and the preacher will either get his heart right or Jesus will tell him, "I never knew you." One prophet declared recently that God will start stopping their hearts in the pulpit.

God had much to say about being a stumbling block to little children. God holds these men of God responsible. We must be watching and praying that we are accounted worthy to stand before Christ and escape these things that are coming upon the earth.

Going to church does not send us to heaven. We must accept Jesus Christ and we must be born again. We are first born of water from the womb, but at Salvation we are born of the Spirit. It is all about Jesus the Christ.

That's sad knowing he is a preacher and doing that stuff. I agree we are not perfect, but we should strive to be perfect. We are to walk after the Spirit and not the flesh. He will answer to God one day. What makes me saved is Jesus. Salvation belongs to the Lord. If we were to keep salvation then we all would never be saved. Because even on our best day we sin. What makes one go to hell is the rejection of Jesus.

Come on ! The story inspires a sense of bonding with you as you are one person who could see beyond Christianity but your question sends me in despair ! Nobody is going to hell ! If you do bad deeds , you will be punished here in your lifetime. God doesn't need gratification of prayers ! He needs good deeds which can keep his work of creation going on ! And I don't want to talk about priests ! Except a few of them , they have no taste of divinity or even humanity ! And that is true for all religions.

See, this is why I don't go to church.

There's a great quote from Ghandi: "I like your Christ. I do not like your Christians, they are so unlike your Christ."

If Jesus was here right now as a person in flesh, he would not be hanging out with any of the church people I know. In the bible, he hung out with gamblers and prostitutes, cheats, liars, poor people... he couldn't stand fakes and hypocrites.
But that's kind of beside the point. Basically, I think what's important is where your heart's at.

And I don't believe in hell in the sense of a raging fire forevermore. It's just like... your existence is permanently terminated. If god loves everyone, why would he want people to suffer forever just because they didn't say the right words?! He wouldn't.

Walk in through the narrow door and enjoying the Word that Jesus gave to the people in the Parable of the Sower.

THAT IS HOW JESUS PRESENTED IT. So it has nothing at all to do with the Crucifixion and Reading the Bible. The Gospel we hear these days comes from Paul and not from the things Jesus said about being saved.

Get Back to the Original Kingdom Gospel that Jesus actually preached.

Every one is responsible for his/her acts - this is the only prevailling law in this world. So is the law & commandment in the Kingdom of God.

Christianity is a confused faith. No one can save you if you break the Law ans Commandments.

Why Jesus is not visiting your Jails full of christians? If he cannot save you here how you expect him to save you in the heavens?

No Prophet of God (before / after Jesus) told us about Human-God or such a Saviour who could be injected with your sins! It is an old TRAP!!

We should be careful about our daily deeds.

Your view is agreeable. Thanks.

I believe as long as you anknowlege God is your Lord and Saviour and you prayed to accept Jesus in your heart then you are saved and no sin you ever do will ever undo that. So no I do not think your cousin is going to hell, just because you go to church doesn't make you a Christian.

it wouldn't be right of one of us to judge whether your cousin is going to hell or not (Romans 14:4)

what I can tell you is that to be saved means that you have eternal life through Jesus Christ. It means that you have confessed to God that you are a sinner, but you have repented for it and have made the COMMITMENT to live your life according to the Bible.

Everyone makes mistakes, even Christians are sinners, but we are still saved by the mercy of God and his willingness to forgive. I'm not saying that I agree with the fact there is a Christian preacher swearing around you. That's not my cup of tea really.

The only way to be saved and go to heaven and not go to eternal hell is to believe that Jesus, who is God, died for our sins on the cross and rose again.
