Are you talking about PR (Permanent Residence for an EEA citizen) or Indefinite Leave to Remain?

Either way, marriage does not automatically guarantee anything. However, marriage to an EEA citizen should allow the other partner rights to accompany the EU citizen if they are exercising treaty rights in any other country. This applies whether or not they have PR. But I think they would need to be here five years before getting PR themselves. The law on all this is complicated, you should get professional advice, or try asking on http://www.immigrationboards.com/

Mariage to someone with ILR is the same as marrying a UK citizen, they would need to apply for a visa for which there are certain conditions about being able to support and accommodate yourselves.

NO you gotta APPLY for perminant residency

I married a Brit, I had to aply first for a 6 month fiance visa, get married within that 6 months, then apply for a 2 year limited leave to remain visa, THEN after that time is up I have to take a test showing that I know stuff about here and apply for permient residency

There is no country in this world where you automatically get citizenship when you marry someone. The government prefers to charge you fees for visas ...

No, thank god. Even New Labour hasn't had the guts to open that loophole yet to let more people in.
