i dont base it on what the people in the church do. rather what the pastor preaches. if he is preaching the truth then right on. just cause the people choose to do there own thing that is there choice. most people now just go to church sunday just to go. they dont really want to. they just do it to play it safe. they feel as long as they go they are saved. i read my Bible and pray to God. and if they church goes with how i read the Bible then i will go. if i have questions do they answere them clearly and good or do they kinda leave it hanging. like i had questions about why in acts they preached to be baptized in Jesus name. and that the Holy Ghost is a seperate thing. i say this cause most churches believe you are filled with the Holy Ghost when you ask Jesus into your life. others believe it is after you are baptized. the Bible shows it can be either. most of the time they got filled with the Holy Ghost after they were baptized in Jesus name. however there was a spot were they were filled with the Holy Ghost and then still commanded to be baptized. and the Bible says we must ask to be filled with the Holy Ghost. anyways point is i found a church that showed me truth. and again i go off what is preached. not off of what the people do. because all churches have people who still do what ever they want.

I reject or do not accept things based on too many reasons and evaluations to list here.
In general, if it has no verifiable evidence for it's beliefs, sounds eerily man-made, is based upon mythology from older religions or is despotic and walks like a bigot...?
... then I probably reject it.
The 'practitioners' are the icing on the cake. You can measure something by it's effects. History shows the effects of organized religion, just as it shows the effects of communism and fascism.
I can reject things on much less information. Dishonesty is one.

I have relented from religion, because the closer I came to an accurate knowledge of truth, the more hateful, angry, and helpless I felt. Religion preaches justice for all, yet when you are struck with injustice, you are supposed to be joyful about it because it means you are becoming closer to Christs image. According to the bible, only God is the rightful recipient of justice. To me, an all knowing God would know it is humanly impossible for people to rejoice when they have been wronged. The only way people overcome wrongs is through justice. When they repeatedly don't see it, they lose faith in everything. Belief in God will cause you to lose all hope for mankind! ;-)

I accept, love and obey Jesus coz he has given me a new life beyond my wildest dreams. He has given me peace of mind, love, understanding, usefulness, self-control, happiness, harmony, friends, a loving family...
He has taken out obsession, addiction, self-will, pride, greed, insanity, egotism, irritation, anger, discontent. There are huge benefits in following Jesus. You don't need to understand everything, just follow. Understanding will come later.
Being a Christian gives you awesome benefits here and now today. You don't have to wait till judgment day comes. Never mind the unbelievers, they are lost and blind. Hopefully their pain and their hopeless future prospects will one day make them humble enough to accept our Lord into their hearts.

I reject religion due to a lack of evidence supporting their claims to the supernatural.

I reject religion in general.
Don't get me wrong here! I believe in God, I believe in Jesus. But I think when one person gets up and starts telling everybody else what they should do and how they should live and what they should believe, you've got a problem. I've seen enough hypocrites for one lifetimes, thanks!

No, but hypocracy always helps. Makes it easy to reject all the silliness.

I reject all religions because there is no god or gods. Buddhism and Taoism are the exceptions because they do not have a supernatural / occult element.

Does the bible not say by their fruits you will know them ?
If the religion breeds hypocrites then I would think it is most likely a hypocritical religion.
