i have a 1987 wheel horse sitting around and a it dosn't have a motor so i put on a kz200cc endro engine off a a motorcycle on it, it fits and everything, since its a front engine and the transmition is in the back how would i rig that up so it runs the transmition

I'm with Ed on this one. I'm pretty sure that the sanctioning bodies do not allow motorcycle engines in competition.

HOWEVER........IF there is an "open" class, that ought to work. What you would need to do, is find a way to Make it so that the chain drive will run the tranny. I'm not sure of the set-up on Wheelhorses (I've always had JD's), whether or not they are belt driven, vertical or horizontal pulley, or maybe even shaft drive. Some more info is needed in that area to help with the second part of the question/answer.

It would also help to know the general area you are wanting to race in. I have found different sanctioning bodies for almost all areas of the US.

Wheel horses have always been know for being heavy duty. I would think it would be a little heavy, but if its what you got, do it.

I would rig the motor mounting brackets to turn the motor side ways.

Do they let motorcyle engines race on the lawn mower circuit? I thought they used the regular engines just souped them up I might be wrong!!!!
