They wont be Junk especially the Action Diecast pieces the lower the Production run the Better. They should hold their Value and increase over time!!!! Example Richard Pettys 75 Dodge Charger released after his retirement 1/24 scale Historical series from Action cost 49.99 when new every time 1 of them comes up for auction on Ebay brings 140.00 or more!!!

Some items will end up being collectibles, like Die caste cars, pictures, and other novelty type items. Jackets, shirts, and other types of clothes with the old number 8 will be clearence items before long.

Just tell your son he could always donate his #8 Budweiser items to me! I'd be glad to take them off his hands, as I'm an avid collector of #8 (as well as other drivers, but primarily Dale Jr.) items!

I think the stuff that have what races he won will be collectables. Like shirts, hats and so on. But as far as the regular stuff I say that will be only something a true fan will want from him.

If anyone could answer that they would be rich knowing the future. Dale Jr.s career is far from over. Should he live up to his fans expectations, any red 8 items will increase in value.

Never bought any of #8's collectibles. I only buy collectibles from the #24 & #48 car plus the #5 car because I like the logo on that car.

It's not necessarily junk but it definetly isn't worth much now. It might be a collectable 20-30 years from now... but I personally don't think that anyone is going to buy it. You can thank Earnhardt's step mom for that one!

they will be junk unless Jr. does some real incredible driving down the road in his career. if he keeps driving like he has been (yes i know its a lot of DEI and engines at fault) then yea theyll be junk.
