There is no quick-fix solution and guaranteed exercise programme to lose weight. Let's just make this clear from the outset.

It doesn't matter which exercise programme you follow, just as long as its impact suits your physical condition and build. If you are very heavy, jogging or running is not a good idea. You should start by walking as briskly as you can every day for 20 minutes, and after a week or so build this up to 25 minutes, and over another six weeks build it up to 45 to 50 minutes. This is just an example, there are other toning and flexibility regimes that you could try out like Pilates and Yoga, but before you take up any type of exercise you should talk to your doctor about it first.

If you walk as above, and follow an eating regime in which you eat healthy, sensible meals with a minimum of fat, particularly saturated fat, you will probably lose a kilo or 2 over 2 weeks, which is enough. Over six weeks you could lose quite a lot, up to 8 kilos. Combining diet and exercise is much more effective when it comes to losing weight that just either one on its own.

Let me stress that you don't need to starve yourself to lose weight, this is a myth. All you have to do is start listing what you do eat and how much of it you eat, then you can pinpoint what foods are not necessary - like lots of chocolate and sweets, cakes, heavy cream, fried foods, deep-fried foods, and the silent killer sweet fizzy drinks - then you can learn to take these in moderation and for special occasions. You can have potatoes (learn to like them without butter and mayonaisse, mustard is a good substitute), pasta (no more than 100g of raw pasta is enough for any adult, it expands while cooking) and rice, grains like couscous, bulgar and millet are fine, 2 heaped serving spoonfuls is plenty. All fruit and vegetables are fine, but some are complex carbohydrates and should be taken in moderation: sweet potatoes and bananas come to mind. Meat should be lean and roasted, try to avoid having highly processed meat like sausages, and learn how to make your own burgers (which is very very easy and you can control the amount of fat that goes into them). Bread is something you have to watch, try to avoid white bread whenever possible. If you're not allergic to them, nuts and seeds make an excellent snack, but you only need 20g a time. Get yourself a kitchen weighing scales.

You should not feel hungry while watching what you eat. Feel free to keep fruit and raw vegetables like carrots and celery handy for the middle of your afternoon when you want to put something in your stomach. Most importantly, drink between 8 and 10 big glasses of water every day, it keeps your system running very well.

Hey there. Good question. I have joined the gym since summer ( I go about 5/6 times a week) and have lost upto two stone last time I weighed myself which was a couple of weeks ago now. . All it needs is will power and confidence, I would reccomend the gym, If thats what you like, Some people find it boring, other than that just increase the amount of exercise you do, For instance, I walk to college now instead of catching the bus, Okay it takes me 30 mins there and back but it's well worth it to lose weight and become more fitter.
It all depends on how much weight you actually want to lose and which exercise interests you the most. Walking is probably one of the best form of exercise though.

Good luck with acheiving this :)

hey, well. it depends completely on how much/often you feel you can/want to excersize, i would suggest continuous training (long distance running, swimming, cycling and (this one may be a bit easier) walking for long distances.)
don't worry if you don't lose as much weight as some people say you are meant to. it doesn't work like that, excercise will increase muscle production. which will help give you a better look altogeather. but muscle also weighs more than fat. so don't think too much about the full on weight loss. unless that is your aim. continous shouldn't increase muscle size that much. in-fact it will increase endurance and rate of weight loss more than anything.
also by eating a healthy diet would be a smart idea. as running long distances etc will be an easier thing to do if you're eating the correct foods. stay away from fatty food (but don't be worried to treat yourself lol! :P) get your average 5 a day. and in general just eat what you believe to be healthy.
you can eat badly and lose weight.(everything is healthy in moderation :)) but might not be as good for your body. if you feel like you want to get more profesional advice if you are with a gym ask for a personal excersize plan. or try to make your own!
i hope this helps you out.

well loosing weight takes time about 2-4 months depending on the exercise i suggest do the bent-knee curl up exercise to make the fats in your stomach go away for a starter i think its 10-20 atleast a day now here comes leg strength i suggest jogging eveyday atleast 1-2 hours for leg strength and sweating will burn the fats and calories off you and for arm strength try lifting like 50 pounds for starters the more you sweat the more calories burned the more fats will go away the more weight you will lose maintain this for 2 months if there's improvement i suggest continue but use like 10 more per time like 2 weeks increase by 10.

REMEMBER:

Always remember that you should NEVER force yourself to do more because your muscles might tear apart so if you feel pain then stop.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

The best way is the old fashioned put out more calories then you take in. Don't fall for the dumb gimmicky diets...just try to eat as whole as possible, not too many preservative based foods, and limit fast foods if you can avoid altogether. Then cardio and weight training is the best excercise you can do. Muscle burns fat, and cardio gets your heart going and raises your metabolism. Remember to drink lots of water, and avoid too much caffeine and carbonated drinks. You should lose 1.5 to 3 lbs a week if you do this....remember it takes time to do it...nobody gains it all in a month so you wont lose it that quickly either. Good Luck

Eat properly and exercise in the gym or go running....
It depends how much you wanna loose, but doing exercise daily and eating very little carbs and fatty foods, you could loose 1-3kgs a week, depending your weight now.....
Remember that doing exercise in the morning is good for loosing weight and in the afternoon is for fitness....

If you want to reduce your weight, you need to do a lot of exercise to accelerate your metabolism. It's better if you do cardiovascular exercise, because this kind of exercise helps you burn fat...

You should begin with a good eating plan, combining fats and sweets with fruits and vegetables. It will be better if you drink at least eight glasses of water daily to control your calories and your cholesterol.

If you want you can use some pills to control your weight and to accelerate the process of burning fat.

I know some pills which you can use to reduce your weight. Those pills are Xenical. Its results are excellent and fast.

Do the running, swimming, anything that uses the whole body like that. the one s to avoid (unless you are extremely heavy) would be weights and exercises that build a lot of muscle. Muscle is heavy.

Do not skip meals. Your body will revert for you to starvation mode and store even the littlest amount of fat content in that which you subsequently eat, causing you to decelerate your metabolism and put in weight.
